Sprunke (Sprunki) Infected Remastered is pepper666’s reworked version of an older infected-themed Sprunki mod, rebuilt with higher-resolution art, freshly sampled audio, and new story cutscenes. The mod does not just reskin the old version; it adds a proper narrative layer that explains why the characters look so wrong, and it does so through an unlockable scene system that starts with a key icon in the top-left corner. It is clearly meant as a darker, more cinematic horror take, and the visuals are intense enough that younger players should avoid it.

This remaster takes the old infection concept and gives it a much more complete horror presentation. Every character OC and animation has been redrawn in HD, and the sound design has been rebuilt from the ground up, so the mod feels less like an old browser project and more like a proper modern showcase. The infected look is more detailed, the timing is cleaner, and the whole stage has that “something is deeply wrong here” feeling that pepper666’s mods often lean into.

The biggest addition is the cutscene system. According to player notes, you first click the key in the upper-left corner, wait through an intro sequence, and then a “cutscen” button appears. Clicking that button starts a story sequence that explains the characters’ transformations and why they became so distorted. That gives the mod a real narrative hook instead of just relying on horror visuals, and it also makes the whole thing feel more like a horror episode than a standard music remix.

Because the content is violent and the cutscenes are meant to be unsettling, the mod is not especially friendly to younger players or anyone sensitive to gore or jump-scare style imagery. The infected forms are the point: they are heavily altered, strange, and intentionally uncomfortable to watch. If you like pepper666’s darker work, that is exactly what gives this remake its appeal.
