Sprunki Phase 5 REMASTERED (Footlong’s Take) is FootLongNachos’ high-definition remake of an older Phase 5-era Sprunki mod. It keeps the series’ horror-heavy identity, but refreshes the cast with cleaner visuals, new effects for every OC, and seven bonus characters based on FootLongNachos and his friends. In the creator’s own words, it was made because he and the community wanted a second continuation of a classic early Sprunki project, following the original mod and its earlier remastered lineage.

This version is best understood as a fanmade revival of a long-running Sprunki horror line. The original Phase 5 material is old enough that some details are hard to trace, but FootLongNachos treats it like a legacy project worth preserving and reworking for modern players. The whole point of the remake is to make that old phase feel alive again: every character is redrawn in higher detail, the animations are more expressive, and the effects are more polished than in the older release.

The mod still leans hard into horror. Like most Phase entries, it is meant to feel unsettling, with corrupted character designs, darker visuals, and an atmosphere that can become intense very quickly. FootLongNachos’ bonus characters add some extra personality to the cast, but they also come with their own flashy effects, so the mod keeps the same “beautiful but dangerous” feel that fans expect from a good horror Phase.

What makes this take stand out is the balance between respect for the original and a modern remix approach.
